All the staff great. Inside our room needed some maintenance. The doors barely shut, the shower curtain was broken and water got all over the bathroom floor, and the floorboard around the shower was discolored and the paint was peeling—probably because of the water damage

Looks old on the outside, but decent on the inside. Area looks a little shady, but was safe. The bedding didn't appear to of been changed and there was crumbs between the couch cushions and on bedframe. Thin floors could hear the person upstairs all day/ night. The staff at this location is super friendly. And the room was very clean. It is clear that this hotel is a bit older and in a less-developed part of Downtown San Antonio, however I feel like the hotel staff is doing an excellent job with the upkeep of the building, and I never felt unsafe at any point during my stay.
