“Scruffy / tired hotel. Metal covering for my door fell off when I put my key in the door. Minimal breakfast choice - wouldn’t let me order an omelette so I ended up with one slice of toast and a croissant because I didn’t want a full English or Kippers.”

“This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). “Clean and tidy caravan. Nice seating and kitchen area plus two bathrooms. Double bed mattress could be newer, was a bit springy. Trainline behind could disturb light sleepers. WiFi only available from adjoining hotel.”
