“Things were all older and dated, but everything was clean. Bedsheets were so old they were nubby. Bathroom was fine with very soft water. Included breakfast was marginal, with pop tarts and weak coffee.
It was interesting having a busy bar in the midst of the building, adding character.
It is also a gathering place for both Harley bikers and golfers for the adjacent course; quite a contrast.
It's the only place around, so if we go to another concert in Mt.Carroll, we'll probably stay again.”

“Room was 60 degrees when we got in it and took all night to warm up. Got a couch (hideabed) to sit on. Hard as a rock. No foot rests. We paid extra for no comfort. Had two thermostats and not sure which one worked. Breakfast was horrible. Dried up oranges and oatmeal, rotten bananas, cereal choices were sugar loaded cheap kids types, coffee was lukewarm. The bed was very comfortable though but covers too heavy and small.”
