“The room was clean and reasonably priced. Sadly I didn’t sleep well as the mattress wasn’t very comfortable - small for a double, and it felt like we were rolling together . Hong had kindly given us a room at the back of the house as I mentioned I am a light sleeper, but because it wasn’t the property I was expecting to stay in, it meant it was near to the main road which was quite noisy through most of the night on and off. “Customer service was brilliant at front desk. I asked if I could check in early after a 4 hr drive at 12 and staff was very accommodating. Room had all the necessary amenities and what I liked was it had an ironing board and iron. The room smelt of paint as may have been recently refurbished. Paid for parking at front desk as it was cheaper then paying at machine. Location is excellent. Thank you to the staff for making my stay a pleasant one.”

“Selected Wheatsheaf based on location travelling from Scotland to South Coast. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna”
