On our last night of stays, our room wasn’t attended, bed not made, rubbish bag wasn’t collected, did not give us washing detergent to wash dishes, no tea bags provided and it took awhile to go down to ground floor as only one elevator working.

What a disappointment. This is not the standard we expect from Shangri La, and in my opinion this hotel is not even worthy of 5 Stars at all. The property is tired and run down, the staff were not very helpful, breakfast was well below average, room service was terrible. We paid fairly high price for this stay of four nights and really expected a much higher standard (like we had experienced in other Shangri La hotels in other countries) but this was simply put - a disaster. I recommend looking for other options in Sydney, we will definitely not be going back there.
