“Great location. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choices. Site is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy scenery. The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. There was an orange film on shower tray which we scrubbed off. There was a goo under soap the whole time. Glasses which were used and dirt in first day remained in room dirty the whole time. “A well run hotel...very clean room....and stayed on a Sunday evening when no food served so can't comment....but would recommend the hotel and will stay again...staff very helpful and lovely choice of beers at the bar....and shops close by”

“We had a lovely 2 night stay, it was clean and had everything we need including a nice big bed! Breakfast was beautiful also.”

“The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog”
