“Our stay at the The Lamb Inn was a delight. From our warm welcome, to our lovely chat at breakfast, and the environment at the pub as we enjoyed a pint ... It was all an absolutely a perfect part of our journey.”

“The room was basically dirty & scruffy. Linen & towels ok but the floor needed vacuuming & bathroom floor around skirting looked like had never been cleaned. Staff seemed stretched & too busy, most of the dinner menu was sold out & my partners poached eggs on toast resembled hard boiled eggs on toast as overdone. The pub is in a great location & my overall stay was not awful but should have been better. The room was only £65 so wasn't expecting the Ritz but expected a clean room without flaking...

“The location was good, nestled in the moor in a small village, complete with shop, river and old bridge: very Devon! We wish that we could say that the pub food in our Inn was good; it wasn't. Overpriced, bland and in the case of the vegetables, undercooked even beyond a fashionable crunch. 'Raw' comes to mind. The pub public areas were shut at 9pm and the staff went home. We actually felt rather abandoned! In all, not a good experience”

“I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay.”

“Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!”
