“The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. The shower was great too. The only thing that let it down was a crack in the sink. All the staff were very friendly and curteous. Breakfast was lush vely and there was a great choice, it just could have been warmer. It didn't spoil our enjoyment of it though. We used the pool which was great. It was like getting into a warm bath. Over we thoroughly enjoyed our night there and would definitely stay again.”

“No aircon. Very hot room. Got a fan but pretty poor for an expensive Spa resort. No late checkout for Gold member... 2 hours 20 pounds. All in all OK but a little disappointed ”

“This is a lovely old building is close to everything on the sea front - 5 minutes walk to the Historic Dockyard (it has close views of the Spinnaker, the harbour, and HMS Warrior). The bus and train stations are across the road, and the shopping centre is no more than 10 minutes away. Add the free car park, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and comfortable rooms, plus the big choice of places to eat within half a mile, and you have the ideal hotel to stay in when visiting the Portsmouth area.”
