“The room was basically dirty & scruffy. Linen & towels ok but the floor needed vacuuming & bathroom floor around skirting looked like had never been cleaned. Staff seemed stretched & too busy, most of the dinner menu was sold out & my partners poached eggs on toast resembled hard boiled eggs on toast as overdone. The pub is in a great location & my overall stay was not awful but should have been better. The room was only £65 so wasn't expecting the Ritz but expected a clean room without flaking...

“It's an OK place in the good location. The property needs to be re-decorated. The bathroom is tiny and the bed is not that comfortable. No modern facility uch as Nespresso coffee machine, no bottle water.”

“Lovely house in middle of countryside. So was very peaceful & 3 walks near by. Would recommend and stay again. Lovely breakfast with all anyone could need. Far nicer then staying in city hotels.”
