“Our second stay - returning because we love the uniqueness of the French Partridge so much. The staff are amazing and the food is excellent. Super breakfast, lunch and dinners - you won't ever go hungry as the portion sizes are really generous and lovely fresh produce and a really good menu choice. The bar area has a lovely ambiance and we slept so well - the mattress and pillows were so comfy. Plenty of car parking. There are no lifts so make sure you get one of the bedrooms on the first floor...

“Absolutely picture perfect. I needed to escape, unwund, and relax in nature. Be careful what you wish for, you may never wish to leave. The family run location is stunning and they couldn't have been more caring or accepting if they tried. The lcoatio is outside a small village. The nearest restaurant, shops, etc.. is a 10 minute drive.. which made it even better for me. Absolute silence at night.. and the sound of nature in the morning.”

“Room was clean and staff worked to keep it so. Staff were good at providing a decent service and giving advice. No problem with parking although I do not think it was full up whilst we stayed there. Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning.”

“Habitaciones perfectamente limpias. No hay limpieza a diario (ni falta que hace), pero sí te ofrecen toallas nuevas y cualquier cosa que necesites. Obviamente, las instalaciones no son modernas. Es un hotel antiguo, histórico, y ahí radica buena parte de su encanto. Tuvimos un problema con la accesibilidad y lo resolvieron con gran amabilidad y eficacia. El pub del hotel es encantador, y el patio, delicioso para comer o tomar algo cuando hace buen tiempo.”

“The check in process was really quick and easy, friendly staff. The room was clean, nice Tassimo machine for coffee, cups and saucers were on the very bottom shelf, not easy to get to with mobility issues. Room view was fabulous, sat there late at night with a nice beer, relaxing after a long day of travelling and working an event, amaaazing. If am up that way again will defo stay there again”

“Plenty of parking staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. Restaurant toilets were spotless and restaurant was well laid out and clean. Only negative was the menu could have had more variety it was mostly based around various types of burgers with a longer stay you may get bored with the food choices. We stayed on the the Friday which was fish and chip special day to be told they had no fish. In summary we had a great stay and will certainly stay again. Please...

“Great room away from the pub itself. The accommodation was clean, and quiet in the evening. The pub shuts no later than 10. Lovely views of the canal. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance along the tow path, including a micro brewery. The White Hart sells amazing Indian food! We shared a pizza for lunch in the Narrowboat which was lovely. Staff helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly! Ubers are available if you want a trip out. “The room was clean, and the staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly. I appreciated having breakfast offered. While the food was great, I found the coffee really disappointing. Having free parking with plenty of spaces available was a major draw, as was the air conditioning--there were a couple of really warm days while I stayed, it helped me to stay comfortable and sleep well.
