Vacations Close To River Hills Golf & Country Club

Outdoor pool and lazy river are nice. I have never seen such a dirty indoor pool. I told the person at the desk the pool was dirty and she said “They just cleaned the decks.” They do not have any maid service no matter how long you stay.. you have to carry dirty towels to desk to trade for clean towels. They do not provide additional toilet paper or trash bags. You have to sit your trash out in hallway bins before you leave or you will be charged. Blow dryer on wall does not work, safe in room does not work, drapes would not close all the way. Terrible experience.

The stay was great and staff very helpful and friendly

We loved the location and the property was very clean. The shower door was missing the magnetic piece to keep the door closed during our showers. The furniture could be updated or reupholstered. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Helpful staff when needed, beautiful view from tower condo. Loved how spacious the room was as we were traveling with an 18 and 21 year old so the extra space was fantastic. Loved the pool and beach!

We loved everything about this stay!!

This is our second time at Ocean Creek. The first time was in the North Tower, and everything was amazing. This time we had a smaller budget and stayed in one of the villas. The room was nice enough, but all of the outlets except one were extremely hard to access, making charging devices hard and one of the outlets in the kitchen did not work. The insulation is rather poor, I could clearly hear someone in a neighboring room snoring, and we could hear every step our upstairs neighbor took, late into the night. On the last day, as we were packing the car, we saw a giant roach crawling across the floor. The pool attached to this villa is really small and the mosquitoes were awful. We were told we had access to other pools at check-in, but they all seemed associated with their buildings and there was never anyone around to ask. We could have gone to guest services, but we just did other things. The positives were that I did feel safe, the people who stay there are nice, the grounds are well maintained, beach access is easy and the beach was very clean. I would stay at North Tower again in a heartbeat, if I had the money, but I would have been happier in a standard hotel with a decent sized pool for what I spent on the villa.

Pleasant, Optimal and Delivered what’s needed for a small family with an Ocean Front Balcony, Pool and Small Kitchenette. Room was surprisingly clean, looked newly renovated and cannot expect more from a small hotel at a popular beach front.
