Victorian style hotel that has interesting decor but pretty dated. Room (twin) was super clean which was fantastic.
There was a variety for breakfast of basic items such as bagels, muffins, yoghurt and some fruit. There was waffle maker which is a novelty for international visitors.
Probably best to head to breakfast early as later choice was somewhat more limited and tables weren’t cleaned after previous guests.
Staff were super helpful and first person to greet us was so friendly.
Location is up a hill but that’s a given in SF. Location worked for us (by having the Muni travel pass) but wasn’t too close to the main areas (we were generally walking a few blocks even to get to transport).
I’d be happy to stay again.
