about 2 hours north of panama city not a bad drive once out of the city

The highway system was terrible. Roadsides were full of litter.

Although the resort was very nice, I would not go back because of the problem of transportation and lack of things to do away from the resort. We did not encounter many Americans, most were from Canada. Not much English spoken there.
