The staff and hotel is excellent

Lovely, family owned property. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.

The bungalow is well equipped and with direct access to the beach. The pool is amazing and the staff very friendly. The only points to improve are the location of the parking area and that the metal roof does not have sound isolation so when it rain is very noisy.

We stayed in Butterfly Village and it was located near the pool, kids loved it. They came to help us when there was a bat in the room- needless to say the staff is helpful! The only thing that we didn’t love was the beach adjacent to the hotel. It was really rocky and the water was filled with debris. Obviously this was not the hotel’s fault, it’s Mother Nature. Overall we had a very good time and would like to come back!
