Vacations Close To Rim Nordic Ski Area

The water presssure was low in the sink. Thin stream of water. Was annoying while getting ready. You get what you pay for kinda place but for $230 a night I’d atleast expect decent water pressure

Monterey Pines Inn is very pet-friendly, and the staff were all polite, welcoming, and incredibly nice. Our room was spacious and very clean. The property is a little dated, but for the price, it was a great value. The location is unbeatable—convenient for getting everywhere, and there’s a large shopping mall just a five-minute walk away. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back!

I tried to get an early check-in. I was told they would text or call when my room was ready. They didn't. I showed up at 4 pm for check in and found that the clerk could not figure out how to check someone in. There was a long line, and I didn't get my room until after 6pm. Unacceptable. They don't clean your room unless you request it by 11 am. I asked for clean towels at 1130 am on my third day there and never got them. On day 5 I asked I asked for towels again this time prior to 11 am and received them. I didn't think to ask to have my trash emptied. When I was leaving a week later, they knocked on my door at exactly 11 am to let me know it was checkout time. The place is a little rundown. The room I chose had an ADA bathroom which I wanted, I didn't get one. There were other customers complaining about the same thing. The desk staff is completely worthless.

Beds were comfortable and the location very convenient for many activities in the downtown area. Easy walk. There is a slight issue. Expedia lists free parking with your stay but the hotel doesn’t have enough parking for every room they have. They recommend that if you use your car throughout the day to come back early in the evening or the lot and underground parking might be full. There is lots of free street parking if that happens but Expedia should list this correctly.

Our stay was so nice, the room was so cute and unique. Staff was so friendly and helpful. I loved the breakfast each morning.

The room was gross. Our sheets had it look like a blood stain. We called the front desk and they told us we needed to take the sheets off the bed and bring them to them. They asked if we wanted both new sheets not just the one that had the stain. When we brought them to the front desk, they never once apologized. I asked for a refund and was refused. I will never go here again. The carpet was disgusting and would not walk on it with my bare feet. The remote control was also very tacky and gross. Do not recommend.
