“The Townhouse is in a great location, in a nice quiet part of town but only 5 minutes walk into town. Nice pub a couple of minutes away too. The owners were very nice and very helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and very comfortable. Great choices availble for breakfast. Will definitely stay when in Truro again”

“Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!”

“Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. “It was a novel experience to stay in a converted jail. The breakfast was great and the service was overall very good. As a practical stay with two young kids I found the rooms to be on the small side (perhaps expected for a converted jail) and not so comfortable as a place to just unwind after a day of sightseeing. I would perhaps recommend it for a one night stay, just to try it out, but not for longer.”

“The location is great and there are shops and gasoline station just beside it. There is an ample parking space however, because it is around a junction, it is better to have a parking reserve. The hotel has a small restaurant inside to dine in. At breakfast, they have a machine where you can make your own pancake. It is quiet despite a busy road nearby. Staffs were so friendly and accommodating. I also like the fact that the hotel is geared on recycling, controlling waste, earth friendly...

“Beautiful old world building with lovely rooms, bar the bathroom being upstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good especially the breakfast. Very disappointed that they had a special curry and pint offer where you couldn't have and alternative drink and when we ordered the curry anyway we were charged £20 without the beer wheras it was £15 with the beer!”

“Beautiful and cozy place with everything what you need to have an amazing stay in Newquay. My room has a breathtaking view to the sea, I was amused! Delicious and healthy homemade breakfast and the owner is a lovely person who’s always there to help you. I definetely recommend you to go there! ”
