It is situated just a short 7 minute drive to the Medievel town center, it is not far from Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, and other nearby bordeaux villages. The rooms were recently renovated, are clean, very well kept, and the place happens to be a well known winery with Grand Cru designation. We loved our room. Very comfy. The whole rental property was a mix of old world charm and modern decor and amenities. It is a very old property that the owners have redone making several units. It is incredibly well maintained. Breakfast was served in the patio area and is delicious.”

18. Au Vélo dans l'Arbre

Saint-Émilion

“This is a rustic, two bedroom cottage property about a 35 minute walk (uphill!) to St Emilion old town. Located in the the vineyards, it's fine if you have a bicycle or similar. It's only 5 mins by car but then you have parking to deal with in the town. It's on a slightly dusty track to don't arrive in heels or immaculate white clothing. Warmly welcomed by Hassan, his wife and daughter, I was shown the shared downstairs area and my room. They do not live on the property. No elevator...
