  • After husking and grilling coconuts following amazing recipes I promised I won't disclose, we wanted some rest by the lagoon to enjoy the surroundings and incredible locals (those guys are absolutely amazing!!). We discovered this place slightly out of town but still at walking distance where we could enjoy the lagoon with Kayaks or even walking during low tide. Rustic polynesian cottage with basic amenities in a great location and easy to find. Very well maintained, nice grounds and pool. Comfortable bed with good linens. A/C, microwave, air fryer, skillet, tea pot bolier and TV with fast internet. Very private and quiet. Loved this place! We will be going back!

Nice size self contained unit which is great for a short or long stay. Everything you need to sort your own food etc. clean and tidy. Great value Some views of the start of Muri beach which is 2 min walk across the road to the beautiful white sand. Didn’t use the pool but looked good if there was a nice hot day.

This property was perfect for the two of us. Great views. Off street parking. Private. Good pool. Mountain bikes and kayaks for you to use. Comfortable bed, very clean and tidy. Roosters very vocal in mornings but got used to it. A couple of extra curtains wouldn’t go a miss to help keep out light and early sun.

A very clean and comfortable cabin in a fantastic location, just steps away from Muri Lagoon with a great view. The free kayaks were a big bonus and very handy to use. We did have a slight issue with the washing machine not working, which was the only hiccup, but as it was during Christmas it was difficult to get a technician and the host genuinely tried her best to help. Overall, a great stay and we really enjoyed our time here.

We loved staying at the muri motu outlook!! The view of the lagoon was amazing plus the free kayaks to use was perfect!! It was walking distance from the night markets and the sailing club which was perfect for us!! Overall we loved our stay there and would definitely recommend it to anybody!!!

Great location overlooking the lagoon, nicer than we expected which is always good, great to have access to kayaks which we used a couple of times and bikes (we didn't get around to using) and a pool that although was shared we didn't see anyone else in except our teens, affordably priced. Thanks for a fab stay, we hope to be back!

A Decent Moderately Priced Place To Stay

This is not a high end resort but it has a pool, free access to kayaks and bicycles, free wifi, and netflix on tv. There is a patio outside your bungalow to sit and a partial view of the lagoon. Filtered drinking water readily available as are the recycling bins.

Beautiful property, meticulously maintained. Great location for walking to the night market, restaurants and activities. Friendly, helpful staff who are quick to respond. We saw turtles in the lagoon across the street too! 10/10 would recommend and will visit and stay again.

More than Happy with cottage pool staff. The only thing was parking and other guest visitors. Vistors were taking parking using washing machine and staying late few times after 11pm
