“Lovely friendly staff. Great location and parking was easy. Facilities in the room were good, including a coffee machine and a great fan. We had a really tasty breakfast with a good selection available , I had the eggs Royale and my husband had the full English. Would definitely recommend.”

“Our first view of the Royal Lion Inn was the renovation structures right at their front entrance. We are not sure if that was due to structural integrity issue or aesthetic reasons. “Upon entering after a long car journey, we were told that they didn't have the ensuite room that we had booked and then shown to a very plain, undecorated bedroom with a sink on the wall by the window. The bedroom was very dusty - I wrote in the dust with my finger. The shared bathroom across the hall was unclean.
