“The stay was great. To say it was old is an understatement, 700 years is the oldest I've ever stayed in and the condition the owners have maintained is brilliant. If you're looking for a historical twee experience, go for this. The cost of the hotel and meals is inexpensive and good quality, the breakfast basic continental but Ok. We loved it.”

“Habitaciones perfectamente limpias. No hay limpieza a diario (ni falta que hace), pero sí te ofrecen toallas nuevas y cualquier cosa que necesites. Obviamente, las instalaciones no son modernas. Es un hotel antiguo, histórico, y ahí radica buena parte de su encanto. Tuvimos un problema con la accesibilidad y lo resolvieron con gran amabilidad y eficacia. El pub del hotel es encantador, y el patio, delicioso para comer o tomar algo cuando hace buen tiempo.”

“Greeted by very friendly staff who then showed me to my room, drink selection good but I didn't eat there so can't judge that, I will say there is a broken window in the room but it doesn't affect noise or sleep and there was two pieces of broken glass on the table, but it's a lovely place 100% would stay there again ”

“The staff were very welcoming. The room was modern and very clean. Nicely done and well presented. Bedding and towels will not be to everyones taste, but functional. Everything good, but the rooms seem to be split larger rooms. Not sure how they are divided but everytime I dozed off the adjoining room had someone coughing that was really loud. Not sure if this is something that they can rectify. The restaurant food was excellent as well. Very good quality and value for money. ”
