The property itself was beautiful, clean and safe and was within walking distance of several restaurants . Our room was spacious with a nice view. On-site food was overpriced and only average. Hotel staff, in general, lacked friendliness and the timeshare push was very aggressive.

We LOVE VDP! This is the third time staying and the first time in the tower. The view is beautiful and, other than a small refrigerator, the room is excellent. Any maintenance issues we have encountered have been dealt with promptly and efficiently with follow up calls from management to assure the issue has been resolved.

Checkin was easy and smooth. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Cleaning staff needs to be a bit more attentive though. Beach staff and wait staff all excellent. Ettelvina in the breakfast is a star employee, all breakfast staff are fantastic. Restaurant choices are great. A wee bit of consistency is required but overall a great property and I will be back.

The staff were very good. The room was clean but it wasn’t the room we thought we had booked. We we’re supposed to get a room with an ocean view but instead offered either city view or a ground floor unit by the lobby which we took.
