Vacations Close To Barge-Driggs Hill Port

Friendly staff

Our recent stay at Atlantis was overshadowed by a very upsetting incident involving our personal belongings. Upon returning to our room, we discovered that our suitcase appeared to have been rummaged through, and my fiancée Crystal’s dress had been damaged. This was extremely concerning, as guests should be able to leave their belongings in their hotel room without worrying about their security or condition. We reported the incident to hotel staff and were forced to spend part of our vacation waiting for security to arrive and take a report. Rather than enjoying the resort and our limited time away, we were dealing with an issue that should never have occurred. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of follow-up. Despite reporting the incident, we have yet to receive any meaningful communication, explanation, resolution, or offer of compensation from Atlantis. For a resort that markets itself as a luxury destination and charges premium prices, this level of customer service and accountability is unacceptable. We expected much better from Atlantis. While the property has plenty to offer, an experience like this, combined with management’s apparent lack of concern, leaves a lasting negative impression. We are still waiting for someone from Atlantis management to contact us, address the damage to Crystal’s dress, and take responsibility for resolving this matter. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would caution other travelers.
