Owner’s son operates the hotel and is so nice and helpful. Gave us restaurant recommendations that were great. When we needed to leave before breakfast, he got up early to make us coffee and provided us with boxed lunch. Very happy with our stay at Maidith Galapagos Inn!

Highly recommend this place... I just had a wonderful stay at Maidith Inn in Santa Cruz. Juna Carlos (the owner) was so helpful with planning tours & recommendations in the area. The place is in a great location, short walk to the main street with lots of shopping/ restaurants etc. Very clean property & a huge breakfast included every morning. I will def. stay here again! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Maidith Galapagos Inn. Hotel was spotless, room had comfortable beds, lots of space, a large dresser and daily breakfast was excellent. The owner/manager, Juan Carlos, gave great information and recommendations for tours and restaurants. He helped with bookings and saved us time and money on both tours. Lourdes was a wonderful cook and maid with a welcoming smile. Will recommend to friends and plan to return again.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. All the spaces were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated.. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices! It was a great start to the day. Breakfast smiles and laughs. Juan Carlos the general manager and true gentleman took the time to give us good information on everything from tours to restaurants. I had scheduled an airport pick up, and confirmed a week prior to our arrival, but nobody showed up. I finally reached someone via whats app who informed that the driver must have left as our flight was delayed. I grabbed a taxi myself. Check in and office was managed by their caretaker (no english), and although nice, limited communication. I guess ok as I had made activity plans on my own. Locked gate (we did not know that the second key was the gate key). Clean room with good ac. No working locks on the windows. No secondary interior lock for the room. About three blocks off the main area, which was dark and deserted. Would not return.

Fantastic experience at Maidith Inn! We loved how quaint and charming the hotel was. Our room was spotless and comfortable for 4 of us (a couple with a kid travelling with another adult friend). Appreciated the freshly cooked breakfasts, and Juan Carlos was exceptionally helpful. When we arrived, he helped us get our bearings of the town, recommended restaurants other guests enjoyed, and made himself completely available to help with our stay. He also helped us arrange tours -- everyone in the Galapagos seems to work exceedingly hard to make guest experiences great. We felt completely safe and entrusted Juan Carlos to handle cash payments on our behalf for tours. We enjoyed cooling off in the evenings in the small outdoor shower and pool. The hotel is in a quiet area but completely walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend, wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
