Good city
The Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana is another excellent place to check out in Porto Alegre. The city is not a tourist destination, but it is a good place to get to know real Brazilian culture, especially the Gauchos of the south!
Boat tour was great! So was the Memorial of Rio Grande do Sul -- a good way to get a feel for RS history in a short time.
Nice city for a couple of days.
