Poplarville Vacations

By accident I booked an animal friendly room. So not sure if this applies to regular rooms but the room was gross. The couch was chewed up and I honestly wouldn’t let my dog sit on it. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and the room was so humid everything was wet. Due to the humidity there was what looked like mold on the mirrors. Bugs in the bathroom. Thankfully we had an early flight and only spent about 6 hours in the room. Only high point was guy at check in.

The hotel is gorgeous, very quaint. Very clean and updated, very friendly staff. Beautiful views from our room and the rooftop. The swimming pool was amazing very relaxing. Velvet Bean was so cute with delicious coffee and fresh blueberry muffins. We loved EVERYTHING about the hotel and we’ll definitely be back.

The check in was with a very rude and unwelcoming clerk. But to the point as much as the maintenance guy named Josh tried never got the TV working, that’s terrible. Really a beautiful place, but big nice pool and lazy river with barely any umbrellas. This is still summertime in Gulfport Mississippi. The restaurant staff was even dressed out , could hear them complain. Took forever to get some really poor quality meals. Never go back..
