“The outside tables could do with replacing. Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing.The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room.”

“The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. “The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...
