Vacations Close To Del Mar Beach

Fun outside bar at night and the breakfast hits the spot

Amazing

First night when going to bed . noted strong smell of urine in bed , not sure if it was bed or blankets.. We did get another room, and they comped parking and resort fee. when trying to leave could not get out of gate to leave property as they had not entered our License plate ( we asked them to do it twice). also had a water leak (from AC drain) on top of bathroom countertop. Overall the property was quite nice ,a bit run down , but staff was pleasant and restaurant was good .

Housekeeping either doesn't come or is very early like 7am. The amount of chairrs on the bay is very little. The bird exhibits is not actually done as advertised and isn't available. No microwave. No bedding for pull out couch. For $1200+ a day i feel like more should be included. Also it is Bayside not beachside.

Our stay was quite pleasant. We were there for the Labor Day weekend and everything was great! Upon check-in, Max was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is located right on the beach and close to restaurants, bars, and shops! Highly recommend!!
