If you are a parrot head looking for Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville experience, this is not the hotel for you. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very conveniently located but as far as a Margaritaville goes, this felt like the “Temu” version. There was no Volcano Nachos, No Cheeseburger In Paradise, none of the same signature drinks you expect from Margaritaville, in fact we stayed 5days/4nights and couldn’t once get a Landshark beer. There was rarely a Jimmy Buffett song on the radio and the pool felt like visiting a nursing home. In my opinion, there are many other less expensive options in Gaslamp that will fit your needs and not leave you feeling like you paid for something you didn’t get. This one just missed the mark,

Wonderful stay. Location was great. Very walkable to Restaurants and waterfront. Definitely recommend!

Room phone did not work, I found an empty water bottle behind bed. One of my towels had a nasty stain The pool area is out dated Deluxe room was small

Had an amazing stay at the Wayfarer. Cannot beat this location right on the boardwalk and beach. Pool area was fantastic. Not crowded with lots of padded seats and loungers. 100% will be our go to hotel when come back A++
