Vacations Close To Playa de Monte Rio

We were pleasantly surprised by the renovations at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel since our last stay. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated, and does a great job of preserving its classic 1960s character while incorporating modern upgrades. It has a unique charm that feels both nostalgic and refreshed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed the live music during our stay. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to the center of Santo Domingo. A tip for travelers: Before booking through a third-party site, check the hotel’s own website. We found that booking directly with the hotel can be less expensive and may offer better rates than the major booking sites. Overall, it was wonderful to see how the hotel has been updated while still maintaining its classic character. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

This hotel needs an update. Bathroom area needs a refresh, especially the shower stall. The TV in the bedroom was a 29" diagonal, too small for today's standards. The Buffett offerings were good, the food quality was average. Don't order fruit juices at lunch or dinner, you will receive concentrated beverages not natural fruit juices. The front desk staff, the cleaning staff and the rest of the hotel personnell did a great job making you fell wellcomed. The location of this hotel is great. I thought the general pool was too small for the amount of guests that were registered during our visit.

The staff was horrible m, front desk I got the room after 4pm. Too much cat around the property and restaurant.
