This property is wonderfully maintained and in a gorgeous setting. The room was very clean, had all of the amenities I needed, and felt very safe. I arrived fairly late in the evening to check in and received the upmost care and a quick check in process. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to my friends and family.

I have a weak back so the firm mattress was super helpful and gave me a good night sleep before a hike the next morning. There is a balcony but no view which was a bit disappointing. However, cleanliness of the room and wood floor (rather than carpets) made up for it. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever in that area in the future.

Clean room and friendly staff. We had room 118. It had a balcony with two lounge chairs which is nice, but due to the motel being directly next to the freeway, the cars were very loud so we didn’t go out there much at all. The beds were pretty firm which I’m not used to but it is what it is, and the pillows were kinda flat. I recommend bringing your own pillow just in case. If you’re a smoker, you cannot smoke in the rooms or on the turf near the parking lot. There is a propane tank directly next to it. All in all, I’d say I’d stay here again.

This tidy and pleasant roadside motel offers surprisingly spacious rooms and amenities not usually associated with budget establishments. James gave us a friendly welcome and guest bags of water and snacks and also provided a replacement card key after we lost the original. Set amid tall pines with easy access to US Highway 50, Westhaven Inn makes an ideal accommodation for a weekend getaway or a longer stay to enjoy the attractions of El Dorado County.
