It was ok. They have a big grocery store in town where we stoked up. Across from the store was a family friendly pizza place with great staff.

As one of the guests said at the breakfast table, Pollock Pines is "the gateway" to many beautiful hiking trails. The area is absolutely gorgeous. No wonder so much of this area is national forest.
