Vacations Close To Pismo State Beach

Love this property a little dated but well kept. Amenities for families the best. Just make sure to figure out your food/ snack situation there isn’t much around the area.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I do wish there was some security in the hotel since it’s in the Gaslamp district which seems to have a rowdy nightlife.

We enjoyed the secluded-ish feel of the location and the resort's layout is nice and walkable. The tropical feel of the resort with tropical plants and trees is nice. There are multiple pools and they were nice. Resort gives a family-friendly vibe. The rooms themselves were clean but have a dated feel. Issues: there was a connecting door in the bathroom to the room next door and you can pretty clearly hear the people next door from within your own room. We stayed three nights and there were three of us. It was a 50/50 crapshoot as to whether or not you had hot water for showers. We found out we share a hot water heater and I guess the early bird gets the warm shower water? We didn't check out the fancier restaurant but the other regular restaurant was decent enough and nice spot for sitting outside. The fancier restaurant turns into a coffee bar in the morning and was not a great experience. Coffee orders were being confused for multiple people, pastries were stale.

How do you get coffee in the room to the guest every day but you don't provide the water!!!
