Great place to stay at!

Upon check in, they asked what brought ha to LA- I believe, more for conversation than anything. I let the front staff woman know that we were here for the Oregon ducks versus UCLA game, and also mentioned this was one of two trips for our honeymoon. She showed us to the elevator and said congratulations. We were up in our room for about 20 minutes when there was a knock on the door, and a lovely gentleman greeted us with a beautiful plate of desserts and complementary champagne. They also sent a card with him. When I opened the card they had typed out a personal message, congratulating us on our honeymoon and wanted to send complementary celebratory items to our room. This was an incredible surprise and meant a lot to us. It took thought. Our room was beautiful, with a corner view of windows, looking down into the city of LA. There were plenty of food options around, and we really enjoyed every interaction we had in the neighborhood. The hotel staff were friendly from the valet to checking in. The morning we left and needed to get our car from the valet, all of the gentlemen were so sweet. I felt like a local celebrity ha ha. My husband and I will stay here again if we ever visit LA, and are looking into staying at the Omni in New Orleans when we have our second honeymoon trip in a couple of months.

It was a lovely hotel. We loved the rooftop pool and restaurant. Bar Lis was a lot of fun and the service was great. We also enjoyed the daily happy hour in the lobby lounge. We did feel some of the areas were not as kept up as pictures showed. There was a whole area in pictures that was completely missing. We also encountered a fairly unfriendly server one of the afternoons we were there. Overall, a very nice hotel and we had a good time.
