“It is a lovely little hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent for Hereford just 7 minutes away. We used it as a base and visited Hereford Cathedral and the Old House Museum in Hereford, Croft Castle, Leominster, Ledbury (not to be missed) Ross on Wye and Goodrich Castle. “Having arrived late and leaving early. I have to say the staff were welcoming and helpful upon arrival. A few little things to note. Breakfast doesn't start until 8am, not helpful if your need to start your day any earlier. Staying in room five (stables area). I found the room a little dated (older TV) but the plumbing noise from every time my neighbours washed their hands was very evident. It settled down once everyone went to bed for the evening. “This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning. “Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option).
