Vacations Close To Pinal County Historical Society & Museum

I chose this property largely for location. We had never been to Scottsdale before so wanted somewhere close to activities and restaurants. The hotel was decent but a little worn. I probably wouldn’t stay here again though. The first two nights they had activities close to our room. There was a large crowd and they were very loud. Not like talking loud, but yelling and cheering loud. One guy was yelling into a microphone trying to get the crowd rowdy. If I knew no activities were scheduled I would consider staying there again. The house cleaning did a great job. We always had a refreshed room, clean towels and plenty of amenities.

I wanted to send this note letting you know some reservations I had about the room I had. I stayed at your location about 2 years ago and loved it. This trip I wasn’t so much in love with it. The stains on the couch and the carpet were very disappointing considering the price I paid for the 4 nights I was there. The ice maker never worked and no one came to check it even enter reporting it. I had to fill the blender with ice and keep it in the freezer. Also, there were dirty cookie sheets in the oven that I found when trying to use the oven. The coffee was terrible and there was only 1 pod for 4 days, for 2 people. Not ideal. As for the bathroom, I went to use the lotion that was provided, but it was almost empty and hair in the lid. In the bedrooms, the lamp shades were torn and shredded and just looked ratty and old. I do love the location, but it wasn’t as special as the first visit. For the price I paid, I was pretty disappointed by the overall look of the room(s). Will have to think about whether to stay here again or not. Thank you.

The place was under a lot of construction which change the aesthetics of our stay. It’s not somewhere I would want to return to. I didn’t like the bathroom sink outside of the bathroom. And it was hair everywhere (not mine).
