“Sandy and Cathy are wonderful hosts. Sandy is always ready with a quip and a story. We enjoyed a glass of wine with them on their deck after arriving and a great continental breakfast. The bed was great and the room was quiet. Yes they do NOT have an elevator and the staircase is narrow and “exhilarating “ but the property is beautiful and full of history and wonderful people. We were sorry to say goodbye.”

“Would not recommend this motel for more than one night, had to get a room change as the first room smelled musty, second room smelled the same just milder. Rooms are old and dingy.”

“My family and I (3 adults, 2 kids, 3 dogs) stayed the night in chalet #8 which was great as well we’re at the end of the road. With the amazing views both from the front of the cabin looking out towards Pictou harbour and the surrounding areas as well as the back had trails and a look out point that you could see out into the valleys/fields. “I absolutely loved this place. We had issues driving and were going to be very late. Well past the 10 pm check in. They were very accommodating and when we arrived at 1 am the key was in the door waiting for us. The host was amazing. At breakfast she had given us some really cool things to do during our stay. Great beach to go to and small neighbouring towns. We will definitely stay there again if we are in PEI again. Loved the garden outside as she leaves it grow out a little for the bees and...
