“Beautiful room with a lovely view over the sea. Spacious room,modern bathroom. Very nice and welcoming staff. Easy parking on the street outside the hotel for an extra fee. A nice restaurant across the road, a 10 min walk to other restaurants and pubs through a bit wornout and quiet streets (i wouldn't feel completely safe walking there alone at night). Most shops and restaurants are in the opposite end of the town, best to reach by car or taxi (not a problem during daytime to walk if you like...

“Was exactly what I needed, a place to stay for one night. Wasn't expecting ‘private bathroom’ to just be a sink in the room and a shared toilet but it was fine for one night.”

“Great Communication from Emma & Dave. Emailed us the day before our stay to ask what time we be arriving so our room was prepared for us. And what a lovely surprise when we arrived. Room 7 was fantastic with a large bay window. We were left a parking permit and parked right outside the property. The Bathroom was very spacious with a lovely power shower. The Room was spotlessly clean. We have stayed in many guest houses in Whitby and we both agreed this was one of the best. Well done Emma & Dave”

“In close proximity to many interesting sites and places. Close to the sea front. The hotel just gets the simple things that many other hotels surprisingly don't. These include having a dining area to eat and having drawers to put your clothes (instead of on the floor like I had to in the last 3 hotels I stayed in. Reasonably priced and definitely value for money.”

“Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.”
