“stayed there 57 years ago at exactly same time of year, place was humming, all in house facilities were operating. this time nothing, no bar, no dining room, no breakfast, had to go outside of hotel for all facilities. lots of stairs, no elevator, place needs modernising.”

“We stayed in the new accommodation part and it is beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous bathroom. The views weren’t great but the staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We also had dinner on the deck overlooking the lake at sunset - stunning!”

“Accomodation fit our budget and schedule for a few days. Booking additional car parking is recommended as there was a fair walk from Thredbo with a lot of steps. There is a courtesy bus that we gratefully used after walking Kosciuszko
Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed having snacks and drinks in the lounge with the fire (and world cup tv)
The drying room was great as our clothes were very wet”

“The most amazing comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in. Lots of stairs but it helps to make you hungry for some amazing food. If you eat here you will not starve. The shower, let's say wow, strong and hot.
The communication before check-in and then the communication as we neared the end of our stay was excellent.
We will be back.”
