Was very close to Snowdon making a sunrise hike possible and the amenities such as water and snacks were lovely. “The room was terrible with a smashed bathroom basin, so I asked for another room. The 2nd room had a smelly damp, mouldy bathroom. There were no common areas. The bar/restaurant areas were kept closed/locked. Reception staff were not at the hotel full time. Only sporadically during the day.”

“The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”

“It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. “Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”
