Accommodating Owner
Steve was friendly, accommodating and happy to help as we had one or two issues in the room that were rectified when we highlighted this to him. Easy contact was made with him by text message.
The room was fair condition and it was quiet in the night. The shower had good pressure considering we were the top storey.
Property was dirty windows filthy very dated desperately in need of some tlc. Never saw a staff member except for check in. Not enough or change of towels or loo roll I would never stay here again.

Very friendly staff on our arrival & room. No breakfast was served there as per description on Expedia. My husband couldn’t stand as it’s a loft room. Asked for clean bedding & towels and only bedding was provided. Stayed 7 days with kids with same towels. Sorry won’t stay again.
We really enjoyed ourselves. |it definitely caters to the working man or family, but at this time it was so good to get a place. The staff was nice and helped us get settled into our room. Everything was clean and tidy. So nice.
It is a good size family room. The guy who checked us in was helpful and friendly. Everything else was disappointing. They don't do breakfasts, although advertised as a 'bed and breakfast'. The carpet is old, worn and filthy and should be replaced. The fridge has home made plywood shelves. Only one light was working.
There were no toilet and bathroom supplies. Even toilet paper I need to call him to get in room. For the rest they said they are out of supplies, no handwash or shower gel. After full day of travel, we went to buy handwas for hotel room from supermarket.
Even at the time of checkout, there was no one on reception at 7:30 am. Phone number was not responding either. We waited then locked and put the key back in room from the window as we were not sure how much we need to wait for someone to show up.
It’s in total very bad experience.

Great value. Room was large, clean and tidy. Tidy size tv with free view. Plenty of towels.
Very happy with this hotel, it was a nice size family room clean with everything that was needed apart from fridge but as only staying overnight this was not a problem.

Overall the room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. However sound proofing could be better, we could hear every word of the conversation of the room above us. Also could do with providing soap in the bathroom, not a big problem though. What really could be improved is the checking out process. I spent 15 minutes knocking on the main door to hand the keys back, also trying to ring the number to ask someone to come open the door. Was unsuccessful in getting through to anyone so ended up having to post the keys back through the door of the room we stayed in which is not ideal. Would be better to have a key drop off box set up to avoid having to do this. Overall a comfortable stay.
Don’t ever go to this property, the room given downstairs was not safe for any couple or family literally anyone who booked. There is no sign of any fire exit . No breakfast to tell us at first . If you need anything no one at recption desk go help. Lack off respect and manners for the guests. We opened a door that’s connected to our room which was a back door of another property which was not safe as soon as I opened the door the lady which I believe the owner or manager of this guest house start shouting and telling us to get out other I will leave my dog on you. Which was I night mare I couldn’t sleep. Also the old spring mattresses and on top they put double mattress to make it look higher. No spoons no shampoo no conditioner they put sign to wash your hands after using toilet but even there wasn’t any soup totally waste of money I can find better places around for the same price.
Absolutely rubbish the conditions were very poor and the fact that there was never anyone at the reception was shocking. Not to mention how rude one of the staff were this man was immensely rude.when we arrived we had to wait for a couple of minutes to actually even enter the building then the man who gave us our keys promised us that we would have a fridge and microwave the next morning what happened the next morning there was nothing so when we went out to see what around this place we asked if he could install the fridge and microwave and he said that it would be there by the time we got back and guess what there was again nothing so for our whole stay we had no fridge and microwave which was very disappointing not only that but when we called him to ask where the stuff was he said that it wasn’t available for the room we got and started blaming us for no reason at all.Even after all of that when we went to check out there was no one at the reception so we called them soo many times but it just went to voice message. Also on the master bed there was the mattress and then this cheap sponge like thing on top of the mattress.Still going on there were holes in all of the holes and I’m not even kidding.
Definitely would not recommend it.It is truly horrible
Unable to contact staff, window leaked onto bed,
This is not a B&B as advertised it’s room only and they don’t offer breakfast at all,
The house is damp and smells of damp but on a plus side the room and linen were clean.
Nice enough but a few issues that can easily be resolved!
Lovely place, that has a lot of potential!
We enjoyed out stay but there were a few things that put us off a little.
The curtain on the one side was falling off, the shower room was really odd - just a shower in the middle of the floor and it didn't feel private enough - no net/curtain in the window.
Our TV didn't work. I was told we would have WiFi, however no sign of that and the managers did not reply on the phone number given.
There was a dirty towel left in bathroom and the toilet wasn't cleaned properly.
Not the best stay we have had!

Friendly staff ,lovely clean accommodation would stay there again
As we arrived to get keys early as we were going to oakwood Theme park the lady was lovely, got keys she showed us where we was staying and off we went, we arrived bk at 11pm at night loads of car parking spaces and in we came. So looking at other comments we were all a bit worried on our stay but u no wat it was clean, spacious and comfy. The only problem we had were ppl noisy in other rooms in middle of night leaving and having no care for other ppl. But shower was lovely. Bed are all comfy. We all had fun and everyone was happy thanks for the stay we will be bk

Not a bad hotel for the price.
Nice hotel. It was close to all the attractions. The hotel management don't answer the phone between 8pm and 10am. we were running late and wanted to leave early but there was no body to leave the kids with until 10am.
aprt from this the hotel is top notch.
Great place to crash overnight. Spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. Lots of shops/ supermarkets nearby. Much cheaper fuel available at Asda across the road.

Staff unavailable, rooms not secure.
On arrival at Llanion Lodge the premises appeared to be closed. The staff arrived by car some fifteen minutes later (and apologised for the delay).
We were shown to a clean, tidy room and given keys to the room to the main front door. We were not given information about breakfast schedules or available dining in the hotel.
On leaving for the evening we discovered the lock didn't work and it was impossible to lock our room behind us so we were obliged to take all our valuables with us.
On returning at the end of the evening we were unable to park our car in the hotel car park due to another guest who had parked across two spaces and prevented the second space being used at all. I feel this could be improved by clearly marked white lines (or even posts) to denote the (three available) parking spaces.
The next morning we didn't see anyone, the dining hall was closed and we left the keys on the table by the front door. We were not offered breakfast.
