“Had to make a call on arrival to sort access codes… on arrival in my room, wasn’t really clean, under the bed hadn’t been cleaned for a long time, shower had just been used by someone, and the basement room 6 I had smelt musty… Property overall was in decent shape, but a lack of attention to detail…”

“EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION WITH STAFF. TOP CLASS MEALS WITH GOOD CHOICE. FREE AND HEARTY BREAKFAST WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. EVERYTHING SO WELL PRESENTED. BAR HAD GOOD CHOICE OF DRINKS, ALSO VERY CONVENIENT FOR THE TOWN'S MAIN ATTRACTION - THE CASTLE. A VERY RELAXED ATMOSHERE AND COMFORTABLE ROOM.”

“The hotel was super clean and the room was very tidy and pretty modern. All the staff were lovely. Very nice to get free parking and breakfast. The only let down was the food in the evening. Paid quite a lot of money for three steaks and they were pretty poor quality and definitely not worth the money. The beds were quite soft which I'm not used to but still had a great night's sleep either way. I'll definitely look to stay here again though the next time we're down as it's in such a great...

“This hotel is in a great location. It is also very quiet in the rooms so you can guarantee a good nights sleep. Comfortable beds and lovely thick fluffy towels.”

“Fantastic setting. Beautiful building and comfy beds. Did not enjoy the curry but breakfasts were great. Loo handle in room 14 fell off a few times and cistern was slow to fill. Shower was fab and the big fluffy towels were super. Very helpful and friendly staff.”

“comfy bed, outstanding breakfast, great location for beaches and coast path. Our room had a great view for sunset over Preseli hills. Plenty of storage which helps keep room tidy, always a bonus. Bathroom a little dated but perfectly fine. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Would recommend and definitely stay again, even if it was just for kippers!”

“Well located - close to the beach, costal paths and Tenby is a 10 min drive away. Well sized rooms, which are looking a little tired with minimal amentities. Nice lounge area in the main house with lovely roaring fire in the evenings Staff are very helpful and friendly Dog friendly which is very helpful (if you have dogs) I would suggest that hotel is over priced for what it is”

“Someone on site would be helpful. Be warned, you have to ask for the tea tray to be refreshed. We missed this detail, so after a day out no tea bags or milk, no-one on site. Number provided was for urgent matters only. Broken toilet seat, damp walls. Two hot tubs advertised, both not functioning. Very jaded rooms. Bird poo all over the garden furniture.”
