“Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.”

“All in all an ok stay. Was let down by a tired bathroom with stains in the bath and poor service at reception. I had to wait quite a while to be checked in as the staff member was missing, and was then sent on a wild goosechase around the rooms in outbuildings only to be told when I returned that the room was indeed in the main building and that he was new and did not know where the rooms are! Breakfast was excellent.”

“The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order...
