“airport hotels are normally a bad experience, this was just the opposite: spacious well decorated rooms, excellent beds, nice bathroom. Perfect standards! Of course you are in an airport zone with no restaurants, the highway close by and poor views on the parking, but you can walk to the terminal in 3 minutes. ”

“The room was basically dirty & scruffy. Linen & towels ok but the floor needed vacuuming & bathroom floor around skirting looked like had never been cleaned. Staff seemed stretched & too busy, most of the dinner menu was sold out & my partners poached eggs on toast resembled hard boiled eggs on toast as overdone. The pub is in a great location & my overall stay was not awful but should have been better. The room was only £65 so wasn't expecting the Ritz but expected a clean room without flaking...

“The Old Bakehouse was a lovely homely place to stay, and the village of Colyton is in a pretty and convenient location to visit several attractions in the area, go to the beach, cycle or hike. Fiona and Steve were excellent, very helpful, and hospitable hosts. Whilst eating our delicious breakfast each morning we were entertained with music from Steve's extensive vinyl collection, which was a really good start to each day.
