Great pub super location but the restaurant part needs looking at had English breakfast twice and it started at 8am we sat down at 8.05 and the bacon, sausage, hash brown were rock hard and a lot of people were asking for yogurt but were told sorry but delivery was late (3 days late)
Would we go again. Yes
Very warm welcome from all the friendly staff. My room was external to the pub but it was lovely and warm (despite freezing temperatures outside) it was nice and spacious and had lovely facilities, nice bathroom and very clean. The walk from village to beach and the surrounding little narrow lanes are great if a tad challenging and I would recomend a stay here.
A lovely hotel in a lovely village next to the beautiful sea. We had a great time and tasty food! Hopefully will come back once.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by all of the staff. A huge thanks to Connar who couldnt do enough for us. Gorgeous place to stay. Spacious room ( room25). Food was delicious and good sized portions. Great place to stay and 15 min walk to the beach.
Fantastic hotel. I typically stay at modern 5 star hotels with work and this was a great place (and I (unfortunately) have a pretty snobby taste). Staff great, older look but modern facilities.
Overall a great stay. Friendly staff, nice room and nice food. Comfy bed. Great location.
Parking was difficult. The room was very warm and there wasn’t a thermostat to make it cooler. Even after turning the radiator off it was still uncomfortably warm (it was early April, outside temp around 10 degrees). We asked at reception and they confirmed that the room didn’t have a thermostat. The people in the room above us made quite a lot of noise and there was little sound proofing (very creaky floor boards). Luckily it stopped after the first night.
A really cosy and lovely traditional old inn with mod cons and a great atmosphere in a beautiful location great for long walks in the countryside and by the sea. Helpful friendly staff, very comfortable, cosy rooms, parking and a very good restaurant. Recommended.
