Vacations Close To Catskill State Park

Location

Excellent service by all the staff at the hotel. We were upgraded to a double suite which gave us lots of additional room. The hotel is currently being refurbished so our room was a bit tired, but very clean. The location the Upper West Side is great, we really enjoyed staying in this neighbourhood.

Everything was great during this stay. We were only here overnight for a layover and watched Hamilton. Was a perfect location to visit Times Square and Hamilton was literally out the back door. We are a family of four and I would only say the bathroom was tiny and the vanity area was less than sufficient for any storage or even doing hair or makeup. We had just left Europe and our last place had about the same sink but here only one person could even use this bathroom at a time. Honestly for us, it didn’t matter a ton just a word of caution for another family of girls. They had a lot going on here. Happy hour from 5-6 with wine, I think. Entertainment during that time. A great place to wait for your room or your ride. A few places to eat and right in the middle of a ton in nyc too

Great location! The common area was beautiful but the rooms seemed to not have the same effort put in. No ice machine on all floors and elevators took forever. Check in line was long all day. Very long wait. The luggage storage is another long line after going through the long check in process. For me, it was a lot of waiting, possibly close to an hour for the check in line and luggage storage. A resort fee to have phone access is odd...because there were literally no other amenities. No coffee or tea in the room, not even a pot to boil water. Refrigerator only by request is also odd. The staff were kind and hospitable. I do not have a solid answer to if I would choose to stay here again.

It is a small hotel but comfortable and the location is central to many places in NYC. The cleaning crew cleaned our room every day while we were there for 7 nights. Sophia at the front desk was very friendly and cheerful. We liked the kitchenette. The price is a deal for the location in midtown west.
