“We only ended up staying for one night of the two we booked. This was due to work commitments not the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Before we left we had a meal in the restaurant. The food was some of the best we’ve had in a while. We would definitely stay there again.”

“We received a very warm welcome from hosts Jackie and Rob and our stay was absolutely exceptional! Our room was clean, neat, well appointed, with a refreshments tray including lovely homemade cake and the folder containing menus and directions for the nearby pubs for meals was well thought out and presented. “It was good value, but over the bridge from the town centre and another 8 minutes walk. Breakfast was generous, but the time had to be pre- booked at reception Room was a slim 1st floor challet.During restaurant hours you hear the clatter of saucepans and drone of exaust fans. Not a problem if your heading out for the day / evening.”
