Vacations Close To Parliament House

This was a great place to stay at the end of our trip. It's located near the tram and you can easily get into the city center. The building is older, but they have done a great job with refurbishing. The room does lack some ventilation, but that is somewhat expected with older buildings. The staff were friendly and nice.

This is a beautiful old hotel, centrally located. We had a beautiful room, enjoyed a great breakfast each morning and enjoyed the staff very much. Highly recommend.

The property was well located in proximity to the centre. The parking was good right outside the property. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. On arrival I was greeted by the owner who was very approachable and helpful during my stay. Definitely visiting again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Thistle Suites in Edinburgh. Our suite was spacious, clean and comfortable for our group of 4. We enjoyed the living area and kitchen amenities. Front desk staff was accommodating and helpful. One of the best things about this accommodation is the location in Newtown. Close to the train and bus station and easy walking distance to the Old town. Communication with the property was effortless. The only issues I would mention is that the size of the bed in the master room is definitely not a North American Queen and that the smell in some of the halls and lobby area was really bad, suggestive of dead mice. Thankfully this smell was not evident in our room. Aside from that, the room was terrific and we would definitely stay there again.

Room was very nice and clean the staff was very friendly

Great place to stay in Edinburgh

We stayed in Rothesay room. The room is in lower ground so no views but it is quiet, clean and spacious. Location of the hotel is great. No power outlet around vanity area. Good overall stay.

Basic Amenities not included e.g. Kettle, tea/coffee, limited plug sockets. Bin was too small. No chair so laptop desk was pointless. Soap no good and not filled up. No water bottle.
