Vacations Close To Palomar Observatory

The room was adequate for the stay but I feel wasn’t worth the money we paid for the night. It was clean but a bit run down. It is in the heart of little Italy so it’s walking distance from farmers market , restaurants and shops. The staff is really nice ! Which was the best part of the stay!

Helpful staff, clean room (housekeeping comes super late - came by at 4 pm when we’re were coming back to change so don’t expect a turnover), good location. Lots of boardwalk noise (there was a band playing loudly one evening and super loud marathon stop at 7am the next day). Would stay again if no events happening right outside the room

This hotel should not be called a resort. It did not hold up to the photos. The pool bar was never opened even though there was record breaking heat. There were only towels at the pool 1 out of the 5 days I was there. The shower kept clogging and maintenance was rude about it and left a big mess after fixing. The worst part was the parking. There are very few spaces and I parked under a tree as it was the only available spot and when I came to put my luggage in the car in the morning the car was literally covered in ants inside and out. My car is clean without any food inside - never experienced anything like it!!!! Would def recommend picking a different hotel.
