Vacations Close To Paisley Abbey

Very clean, spacious, staffs were very helpful and close to the city.

As of August 2025 the building is surrounded by scaffolding. Facilities for guests are minimal: no waste bin in the room, the one in the available kitchen is never emptied so is overflowing and constitutes a health hazard. There is not a single mug, plate, piece of cutlery in the kitchen, or cleaning cloth/disinfectant. There is no refreshment available at the property or nearby. If you just need a bed for the night this property is OK, but if you want any more - it is to be avoided

The hotel was run by what seemed like a young, very friendly and helpful, family. The hotel rooms are adjacent to the reception building, flat screen tv (although we did have a wifi issue and couldn’t access it was there and there was ability to hotspot additionally). We stayed in the deluxe twin room which ours was equipped with a double bed and a single bed. They have water and fizzy juice available to buy when reception is open which was brilliant as the nearest shop is a walk away. The only downside is potentially the location (which is no fault of the owners) but we got ubers from the venue to our destinations and back and at no point felt unsafe. Would definitely return, brilliant service and for the price is definitely worth it.

Loved this hotel. Excellent location. Cute touches, tablet offered on check in. Very spacious communal areas. Bar on ground and restaurant on top floor fantastic. Sadly, due to weather, we didn't get a chance to try the roof terrace. Rooms were great, comfortable bed, great shower. Will definitely book again.

Very central hotel, staff were lovely and friendly. Very small room, stayed 4 nights and staff didn’t clean, they came to change the bedding once but left a note to say too many personal belongings on the bed (1 pair of pyjamas and a carrier bag).

While the lobby and other shared areas are beautiful and well-maintained, the room had a dormitory feel - ie: minimalist and not particularly welcoming. The folks at the breakfast place are lovely - above and beyond, but the front desk staff are 'meh'. If you get laundry done, you must go and collect it at the front desk. Just fyi. Don't wait like I did. Also, they provide bath and hand towels but no washcloths. All of that said, if you like a sauna and cold plunge, onsite bar and restaurant, plus a great location and you're finding the The Address price is right for you, by all means book it. That's what I did. I spent very little time in the room. Agyle and St. Vincent Streets, Kelvingrove Gallery, The Necropolis...are walkable or a short uber ride. Some of the best shopping 'Style Mile' is right out the front door.

Central location. Lots of parking options overnight though less so all day. Lots of pubs bars & restaurants locally. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some construction going on - the elevator was out of order when we were there - that made it a little less than perfect but it was good value.
