Right on the sea front and very close to all the seaside amenities. Ali was very helpful and hospitable - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and tidy and fairly standard for a seaside hotel. The hotel is in the process of being done up and the staff were keen for us to be satisfied with our stay. Any tiny concerns were very quickly sorted.

Just stayed 1 night , 1, no hand towel to dry your hands. 2the bed and mattress was that old and stained. 3 pillow stained. Think they need to revamp the hotel, would not stay again.

We didn’t even stay in the hotel that we’d paid for, the carpets were filthy, no meals to eat in hotel,charged us for parking and it said it was for free. Bed linen was fiilfy, shower didn’t work properly, wanted to get another hotel but we didn’t want to leave the room. Didn’t go out to get food as we were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get back in and fry isn’t feel it was safe enough to leave our luggage

Do not stay here it is dirty and had closed in Feb 2025 but still take your money . All furniture is stacked up in corners I have never seen anything like it in my life booked and payed but didn’t stay do not book and pay anything do not get took in by this place Expedia should not be advertising this it is disgrace

Had a lot of trouble unlocking door to room, had trouble finding anyone to help even had to phone up to get someone out ( no one on site) the man who did come was very helpful and polite, but we shouldn't of had to wait, also the tv in our room worked,but had no sound, and the radiator didn't work

Property just across the road from sea easy access, parking which is a big help. Friendly staff very helpful. Overall our experience was good all round. We will book again when visiting Paignton.

Not a bad stay, we can see they are trying to improve the hotel and it’s been cleaned in areas. The negative the pillows are somewhat questionable !! Take your own as they are not nice. They could do with a lamp in the room and better heating as we stayed in February and the hearting was off. They only put it on as we got there but was still cold in the room. The bathroom shower could do with being cleaned better or a new shower head as it was not the best. For a double room it was very small. Must a bed large furniture I would say too large for the room and no chairs to sit on.

It was £19 for a bed when I got stranded, so it lives up to the price. Check in was handy as its all self service so you just type in a code to the building and a code for the room. Room wasn't in a great condition with what I hope wasn't blood and a scotch mark on the floor, but the bed was comfy. Bathroom had a terrible smell, couldn't place it but somewhere between rotting plastic and your nans house. You get toilettes and a hand towel to wash with but I couldn't for the life of me find the bathroom light. The shaving light and light above the bed were also broken. Loud guests but that was kind of expected and luck of the draw Parking was convenient though.
